INTRODUCTION

Now available, our new Cygnus Dragon Electric Viola named after the Swan northern constellation.

Up until now our viola players have been using our 4 string violins strung as a small viola or our 5 string violins so now we are very happy to also offer a full size 16’’ electric viola.

Along with e Dragon Aquila and Lyra these custom made electric instruments are the top of the Bridge electric range and favoured by many professional players for their newly developed set of electronics and customised features. Designed for solo and band work the Dragons are often requested for high profile professional gigs by both musicians and sound engineers for their high signal, ease of use and reliability.

ABOUT THE DRAGONS

The new Bridge Dragons have risen from the luthiers' benches in our UK workshops. Developed from the iconic outlines of the Bridge Aquila and Lyra violins this new instrument retains the integrity of its predecessors but with so much more. This custom made electric viola joins the Aquila Dragon and Lyra Dragon at the top of the Bridge electric range, favoured by many professional players for their newly developed set of electronics and customised features. Designed for solo and band work the Dragons are often requested for high profile professional gigs by both musicians and sound engineers for their high signal, ease of use and reliability.

They feature -

• a new slimline neck hand finished with our own recipe of oils and shellac for a smooth playing experience
• a newly developed set of electronics that deliver greater clarity of tone
• a higher output generation utilising a 6 volt coin cell battery configuration
• the pickup system also upgraded to match the new electronics
• auxiliary mini jack headphone output
• compatible with all common wireless solutions including Line 6
• Add to this the smooth Wittner finetune pegs and your own choice of custom colour and the day of the dragon has well and truly arrived!
